Weep not for your dear loved one
Hes crossed the chilly sea
And now hes on the other shore
Where all is safe and free

There was nothing half so dear to you
As his dear presence here
But would you call him back to pain
To sorrow and to fear

And then our Savior needed him
To make the band complet [sic]
Around the Snow White Throne of God
Where music is so sweet

Weep not nor mourn for that dear one
For he is now at rest
He would not have been taken but
The Lord he knowest best

And then when death shall set it seal
Upon your marble how
It will be so sweet to meet with him
Who dwells in glory now
