for my own affairs, and so they had
to wait . and I have only now got
around to telling you how happy
I am for you. You knew I would be
though, all the time. How glad
you will be this spring - to see the
vases blooms and how bright
everything will look to you. You
deserve all this for you are in the Mas
ters work - and he has watched over
your temporal affairs for you.
I felt sure it would come out
this way but there we can never
really know. Do come down East
again and let us see you this spring.
Are you going to the Consecration
in June? "Senatorial Courtesy", you know
demands it. Nearly all the Candidates
are Senators, Quay, Allison, Aillon,
Davis, Manderson, Thurston, Sherman
& c. to say nothing of the presentations. If
you and I knew who it would be, we could
support several colleges and missions, on our winnings.
