It is very kind of you to send so many copies for distribution among his old friends and associates of the Senator in

his connection with the Seminary. Reserving a few for the Seminary library it will give me pleasure to distribute the remainder and I am sure that friends will greatly appreciate your rememberance, as we regarded your husband as the most eminent among the long line of illustrious alumni that the Seminary has put forth, and his name will continue to be an inspiration to the coming generations through the Educational Monument that he has erected as a perpetual legacy to mankind. Through me please accept the thanks of all who receive copies of the memorial volume. I take the liberty to send copies of our annual catalogue, and of the Owahgena - a periodical published by the Senior class. The Seminary is doing well considering the financial depression, and is making such advance ment in Educational
