morning service, and no
choir, it would perhaps be
best to have one good hearty

I have asked Mr
Lathrop for the usual
clerical holiday of two
months, and look forward
to it with pleasure for both
Mrs Gardner and I are
very tired. It has been
a busy year - at home a
constant stream of
students and visitors to
entertain and in the
church three Sunday
services, weekly lectures
