My dear Mrs Stanford

I have changed all
my plans for the
summer, and in
place of going up the
Hudon have taken
a tiny wee cottage
(one of Sherry's) at
Narragansett Pier
where I can be quiet
and have all the
comforts of a home

without the cares
of house keeping &
will have enough
room for either
the Col's or Nellie's
families who have
promised me a
week or two of their
time. If you should
come east this summer
do come and rest
with me, won't you?
Whilst shopping the
other day I found a
facsimile of this nice
