Dear Dr. Jordan

Your communication dated Oct. 29 was received on my
arrival at Cairo. I was so pleased to get particulars in regard
to the new-comer and I am thankful that the mother and child
are doing well. Good in His great goodness gave you a son and
now you have three sons and two daughters and Barbara the
daughter in the Life Beyond is going on with a higher education
such as you could not have given her on earth and her love for
you all is intensified it has become divine and will never die

With best wishes for Mrs. Jordan and the little new-
comer I am as ever in the past
