Dear Mrs. Stanford:
I received
the Photographs of yourself
and the Senator. Allow
me to thank you for them.
I prise them highly and feel
the compliment of your send-
ing them to me. I was
greatly disappointed not to
get one of your dear boy.
Whenever I visit your
[left side]
would know from whose lips
fell the inspiration that in-
spired yourself and Husband
to build so grand a monu-
ment for God and humanity.
Yours sincerely,
