on earth, and to permeate the
whole Institution, from the Pres-
ident down to the youngest
student. I desire the teachings
of the greatest of all Teachers,
our precious Saviour. No
theological doctrines, no
creedisms of any kind, only
the simple beautiful truths
taught us by our Master
Teacher, Jesus Christ.

There is so much I
would like to talk over
with you that I shall en-
deavor to meet you before
I leave Europe for home,
late next fall. Excuse
this long letter, but your
last letter has assured me
that I could open my
heart freely to you.

Please present to Mrs.
White my sincere respect
and for yourself accept
heartfelt thanks for your
expressed interest.

I sincerely desire to hear
your experience in the effi-
cacy of prayer in connec-
tion with the Peace Confer-
ence. I too could tell you
of the wonderful leadings
I have experienced in an-
swer to prayer.

Your sincere friend,

Mrs Leland Stanford
