MRS JANE STANFORD
VISITS HONOLULU

Mrs. Janes [sic] Stanford, widow of the
late Senator Stanford of California,
and the surviving founder of the Stan-
ford University, arrived yesterday on
the Korea en route to Japan. She
will remain here for about three
weeks as a guest at the Moana hotel.

Mrs. Stanford looks well and hearty
and stood the trip nicely.

"I am never sea-sick, and therefore
I always enjoy a sea trip," said Mrs.
Stanford yesterday. "I enjoy travel-
ling, and hope I may be able to come
here again. I am stopping here in
Honolulu because I always enjoy my
visits.

"Stanford University is prospering
and it certainly has a fine career
ahead. I am adding another building
- a library, which will undoubtedly be
quite an attraction there."
