Dear Mother and Daddy,

I certainly intended to get to write you before this, but I have just had so much work to do, that it is coming out my ears. It is certainly a good thing I didn't come home: I spent the entire week-end studying, including Friday night at the library and Sunday night until four in the morning. However, I just can't start keeping Bobbie's hours. I handed in an accounting problem ten pages long this morning and was also supposed to hand in my paper on the Reorganization of the Government, but I just couldn't quite make it. However, I don't think anything to drastic is going to happen if it is a couple of days late. It was such a huge thing to do, I really just didn't know quite where to begin, and I had an awful time getting it started; however, I as think it will go quite

things are brewing between them; so of course she will have to be here to see them. However, she has said many times that she would love to come, and I know that she appreciates your wanting her to come very much. I do hope I shall be able to bring her home sometime soon. I am glad you think it would be all right for me to make her a skirt, because I would like very much to do so. I would like to do something very nice for her, and I know she would appreciate my doing that. I shall send you the information about it as soon as my work lets up just a little bit, and I can get a little time. I will be sure and send it in plenty of time for you to get the material for it by Thanksgiving. I shall also write you more then about coming home. I must go now to a one o'clock class, and I want to mail this on the way. I am
