Dear Mother and Daddy,

I have just come back from taking my Business Law final - and to say the least I am just slightly discouraged. We had one big question which involved a page and a half of facts which were very confused. We were to analyse the facts of the situation and discuss the legal aspects, and I completely left out one statement that completely changed the whole decision for one of the main points. We also had a hundred true false questions and another case to decide which wasn't too bad, and I do think I got it alright, but I had a B average in the course and I wanted to get a B in the course so

Yesterday morning at senior breakfast I did pass candy, and I am so glad that I did because everyone was so excited and would have been so disappointed the time when the skits were going on I could have the people discussing the possibilities of whether I would do it or not. The next morning

I really didn't hear the bell ring, all I did hear was girls screaming and they all said it must be Mary before Mrs. Reynolds ever got the card open. Then they all had to talk to me about it for hours; so even though I tries desperately to study, I didn't have too much luck. Even Mrs. Reynolds was excited. I think she likes Jack better than she likes most of the boys around. I went in just before dinner on Saturday. I just went in

and asked if I could speak with her for a minute and she immediately asked me if I were going to announce my engagement. She seemed just as excited as any of the girls, and last night when I had him come over for dinner - I couldn't go out because I was on supper duty and besides I had so much work to do - she came out to the kitchen she came out to see if he had everything, which was a very rare event because she never concerns herself with that the boys are eating. Knowing were that they will take good care of themselves, and besides she always gets just furious when boys who are not haskets eat in
