Dear Mother and Daddy,
Now that I have a little time to write, I really don't have to much to write about. I have been pretty busy this week studying - since Jack isn't here there isn't much else to do. He called last Monday night and told me he found he was going to have to stay home longer than he expected. So I guess he won't be back until Sunday.
Last night though, three zetes that we all know very well came over and took Eve, Dielys, and me to play minature golf. All of us are engaged and none of the boys are here; so they took it upon themselves to look out for us.

Of course my partner and I came in last, and I naturally had the worst girl score. But I was playing with a left-handed putter most of the time, which made the balls curve when you hit with it right-handed, so I blamed every thing on that although it really wouldn't have made any difference in my score. Anyway we all had a tremendous time.
I got my Shakespeare test back today, and I didn't do too well on it. I just got a B- which was rather disappointing since I had thought I had done so very well. Evidentally I had put in a lot of extraneous material.
I have been reading the brides book that daddy sent. It really is quite good, but it is mostly with things

to do in keeping house when you are first married. The book makes it sound so easy, but I am a little afraid that it won't be.
I had my music lesson today, and Mr. Holt is having a small recital on the fourth of June, at which I am going to play the Polanaise I learned from him. He keeps talking about coming down to Los Angeles this summer. I hope he doesn't, I don't think you would care for his type. I do wish he were more like Dr. Popper.
Since there isn't any more to say, I had better go to bed. I shall write soon again when I have done something besides keeping my nose in a book.
