Dear Mother and Daddy,

Just a line to let you know I'm still alive and working hard. I am having my final in Russia tomorrow and it just does scare me a little. There is just so much material I should know. I have been reading frantically for days but all it does is leaves me very confused. I finished my Global Geography yesterday and that just does leave me a little relieved.

Tonight is the night that I am supposed to play in Mr. Holt's recital. I would give anything if it only weren't tonight. Last night I also had to spend a little time in rehersal. After last night I decided

that I really liked Mr. Holt better than I thought I did. It seems that he really has quite a wild sense of humor. He made several arrangements of little tunes like "Happy Birthday to You" combined with all sorts of familar pieces like Vienese Waltzes and the Tachiosky (sp) Concerto. so we went and really had a wonderful time. We all sat around and ate, and then sang songs and did little dances, and finally ended up by playing charades. It is things like that that really make me hate to leave; and yesterday when I left my last class yesterday I was practically in tears I was so sad. Even though I have to go through finals, which are always just gastly. I hate to see everyday go buy. I am sure no girl has ever loved college as much as I.

Well I must go back to study Russia. I'll have to find a very secluded spot in the library.

In spite of hating to leave so badly; I really am looking forward to seeing you at the end of next week. Perhaps it might be well to call me sometime

just before you leave and I can get you the last report on the weather.

Love to all,

Mary~

P. S. I did get a B in my last Taxation Test; so maybe there is hope for that after all. It would be just terrible now if I didn't graduate especially after I have gotten myself so worked up about leaving, it would be such a let down. But I have no doubt but that I will.

Love,

Mary~
