About things I need to have sent up - Besides the curtains I would like my little blue hat and your oink straw hat if you aren't using it. Also, when you send the gray formal you might as well send the black one, I might not need it this summer, but then I won't have to bring it in the fall. I also need a laundry bag. Please don't forget to put my fur in storage. I am going to keep you just as busy as ever even though I am away from home, it seems.

I have just finished registering, and I have my course planned for the summer. It seems rather hard to me, but it doesn't give me the full number of credits. I am going to take English Composition, French Reading and Composition, and Astronomy and Geology. I asked my advisor about taking private music lessons and he said that the university didn't offer

any such course, but he suggested that I take from some one in Palo Alto so I am going to look into that. Just how good the teachers in a small town like would be however, I don't know.
All that I have been doing since I got here has been having fun, but I am afraid that it is going to be mixed with some good hard work now. On Saturday night there was a Freshman Dance, which was just loads of fun. I danced with more people than at all the cadet dances put together. Maybe I've finally "blossomed." The boys I got acquainted with are a boy named Leo from El Paso and a boy named Fargo Wells (if you can imagine such a name). George is also around, but I think he has gotten a little discouraged. Yesterday I went to church with Sally Sutch and Sally Teachout. It was very inspiring and we heard a very intellectual but rather ununderstandable sermon. Last night there was a barbecue that was also loads of fun. We learned all the Stanford
