Dear Mother and Daddy,
I haven't much time to write because it's getting late but I was afraid you would worry if you didn't hear from me soon.
I seem to have been in a frantic rush to get my homework done and to get to places on time. There never seems to be an end to all the things I've had to do.
I have just finished reading some of Plato, which amazing for me, I found very fascinating. Letter writing and clothes washing seems to take up all the rest of my tie.
You'll be surprised to hear that the other day on the bus, I met Mrs. Harris and Donna Mae; it certainly was a surprise to see them. Bill Williams is up here visiting Sally Sutch, and last Saturday night I saw Frank [Dazey?] and another old Webb boy. We

talked over all the old Webb parties.
I received Etta Katherine's present. It was a loud pair of pyjamas, just suited for college life.
I think I'd better write a little paragraph on the things I need. (This seems to have become very characteristic of my letters). I must have some more sheets, and I need the formal by the nineteenth of August.
I will write a more detailed letter at another more appropriate time.
With love to all, Mary
