Dear Mother and Daddy,

I have had a very nice week, that is until tonight. I have finally caught up with all my back homework only I still have to work real hard because we are having a test in Western Civ. on Friday and also in French which means that I have to review my whole play. My Saturday morning lab. has been changed to Thursday night and that is pretty bad since that means I can't study from seven until ten tomorrow night. Today though I wrote two compositions for English and I felt that that was an accomplishment for one day.

Every night this week I've had a "coke date" too. They are dates at the "Cellar" from about 9:30 until 10:30. don't fool around after dinner about getting your homework started. Monday and Tuesday night I had them with Don [Bluh?] who is a big soldier about campus, I was supposed to have another one with him tonight but things didn't turn out quite that way. Bob Roartree came by to seeme too he'd come several times before so I couldn't show him out the door, especially since he's the nicest anyway. So we went and picked Sally Sutch, the med. student she goes with was with him, at the library and then proceeded to go to the "Cellar". Of course we sat down in a booth right across from Don and I asked him how he was. I don't think he appreciated it very much, especially since I'd said that I didn't know because of my studying. I certainly never thought that I'd have trouble like that, but now I know.

You needn't worry about my going into San Fransisco anymore. About six of us are going to stay with one of the girls who is going to the party and who lives in San Fransisco.

Have a super time in [Phoenix?]. I'm rather selfish though and wish that it were me you were coming to see.

Love to all. Mary
