Dear Mother and Daddy,

I went to Mrs.
Belenky's this morning and
heard some of her pupils
play. I was very impressed
and inspired to practice
more. Most of her pupils were
only about 12-13-14 and
they played much better than
I do. I'm afraid I shall be
a little embarrassed when
I have to play for them because,
I shall certainly have some
[critters]. I came home inspired
to practice my lesson all
afternoon, but when I got to
the place where I was to
practice they were having
a meeting and I couldn't
practice until 3:30. When
I started to practice, some
boys came in and asked
if they could listen to me,
and of course I didn't say
anything, but I'd wished
theyed stayed out because
I couldn't practice my scales
with them listening to me.
People kept coming in and
sitting down and I got very
preturbed. Everyone was
