Dear Mother and Daddy,

I got daddy's package yesterday and I was certainly glad and it tasted just wonderful on some crackers - Unfortunately everyone else thought so too, so now there isn't too much left. I also appreciated the little knife and fork set (plus note) and every one but me thought it was so appropriate that they are going to take up a collection to buy me a bib.

and I don't know what they did but anyway, they did think that it was neat.

Last night I went to the Ballet Russe. They have here what they call the Concert [Series] when they present four times a year some very cultural even like that - next time they are having Artur Rubenstein. Bob took me - he likes things like that and I'm awfully glad, most of the med. students do - and the balet was really wonderful. They had some of the most famous dancers, but the best one took a tumble - and they did some of the best dances - I guess that you will remember Les Sulphides - they also had the "Bluebird" by Tschaikovsky and two modern ones - one of which was about cow punchers if you can imagine such a thing.

Nothing has happened in school except we are getting ready for finals so I'd better start to studying now.

Love to all, Mary -
