than last. I guess they loosen
up a little in the summer
time when there arn't as
many students; so if I don't
get as good grades this time
as last, it won't be because
I didn't work as hard, but because
the work was harder. I think
though that if I study consciensusly
these next two weeks I can keep
about the same average.

There really hasn't
been an awful lot doing here,
because finals are coming I guess.
They did have a big bond drive
though this week and they have
had auctions all the time to raise
money. I told you they auctioned
off a date with George at one
of the girls' halls and he sold for
$305, so I guess he is too
expensive for me. Today they had
a lot of jeeps here with soldiers
to take people riding who bought
war bonds. The girls' sorority
houses have also been giving things
for the Freshmen girls. It's sort of
like rushing I guess but I don't
see the use since they can't pledge
anyone. I went to a Theata coffee
on Tuesday and the Kappas
had something, but I couldn't
go. The dinner bell just rang so -
