dinner here - almost as good
as at the Jonathan Club -
and we all got to sing
Christmas carols. When we
went into the dinning room
we carried little lighted candles
in jars, but mine got so hot
that a piece of the jar dropped
off and blistered my hand, but
nothing tragic happened. We had
turkey and plum pudding and
everything that made a typical
Christmas dinner.

Incidentally be prepared to
put me on a strenuous reducing
diet when I get home. I'm
sure that after seeing me, you'll
want to.
