Dear Mother and Daddy

I've gotten settled in my classes now and I'm very pleased with all of them. I didn't take any except those I wanted to take. I can't get over how interesting Sociology is. The only trouble is that I'm afraid I'm reading my assignments more for pleaseure than for study and I'll have to study. It worries me that the students in my classes are all so much more advanced than I am and know so much more. Even though I do awfully good work according to what I'm doing. I probably won't get too good a grade since the others will be able to do so much better than I but anyway I shall try hard.

Yesterday I only had to classes. Pol Sci from 8-9 and Spanish from 9-10 so I cam home early and after lunch I went up to the boathouse for a little while and knitted. My sweater is coming along fine expect I'm certain it will take me forever to finish it. Last night Bob took me out to dinner and to the ballet. He is having vacation
