Well I certainly never thought that this week would end. I just lived from one test to another; it was almost as bad as finals. I certainly hope I did all right. I think that I did in all except Political Science when I left out a section that counts about one-fourth of the test. That was very discouraging because I knew the material. The test primarily covered twentyfive Supreme Court cases. I rather doubt if I will be allowed to make it up, but the corrector said that she would speak to the professor about it. I certainly hope that something can be done. I'm awfully anxious to find out what I got in German. My average

in that class so far is 97 and I'm hoping to keep it there, but I sort of doubt that I can. I hope the mid-term didn't bring it down too much.
I was so thrilled to hear about Bobbie's being discharged. I'm anxious to know what his plans are. I wish so much he would come up here - they have both a wonderful art and a wonderful engineering department. I don't what him to go to U.C.L.A. I just couldn't possibly have a brother going there while I'm at Stanford. I'd just never be able to look him in the face.
Last Sunday night the Sophmore class had a scavenger hunt It was wonderful fun and Sally and I got most of the things, but we didn't win.
