We caulked all the siding last weekend,
& hope to do the roof this coming
weekend. We're waiting on
a housepainter friend to come
thru with some additional materials
at a proffessional discount. After
that most immediate need is taken
care of, we will start to mobilize
our carpenter, floor-layer,
paving contractor, & sliding glass
door friends. I'm also negotiating
for a 4x8 ft. aluminum sash, 3
panel window for the living-room.
It's going to take a while, but anyway,
we're started. Pooh pitches right
in, too. This weekend, she spent
as much time possible on the
top of the ladder & managed
to get well daubed with caulk.
It looks like we're going to have
a streak of Indian Summer, a
much needed repreive on the
outdoor work that should be
