I presume you received my last lette with presc or suggestions what to do for yourself. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to President Jordan. while in Los Angeles this morning ought to have met him while in San Barnardino & would if there had been no mistake made. Joseph Brom called me and [wash? weish?] me to go with himself & Jordan to Smiley Hights riding the next day (wednesdy) if it was clear & nice if not he would not go. away they drove up with a 4 horse rig to go as Mrs Jordon said she would rather be riding than sitting in the house. So that way I failed to go. Then I made up my mind I would go to the Stewart and call on him and when the session was out of high school building it was but a few minuts to train time for him to start to Los Angeles and as I had buisness I went to Los Angels next day (yasturdy) did not get around to meete him untill this moring at the breakfast table Richardson introduced me to Jordan & [wife?] So I had quite a talk with him while eating was well pleased with him. He remembers you all right & think you have a good prospect in the future, he said after I told him of your intention to Pratice Medicine he said San Barnardino was to small a place for you for you would be capable of doing so much better. he talked like he was puzzled to know who to send for when any of the students got very sick talked like Doct Woods would not do only to give a little advice &c. I hope you are still improving. If not give us word by Telegraph
