Hello Grandma, it's me again! Dripping wet but on my way back to London from Paris and beyond. It seems really funny to be going back, I can't believe we've been traveling for 4 weeks already, I'm tired, but it doesn't seem like it's been that long at all. Paris was interesting this time--it poured all day today so we spent much of our time alternately getting wet and trying to dry out again. The Rodin Museum was really impressive, I just wish the weather had been better for wandering in the gardens--just can't get the full feeling through the rain and around the poncho. We should be used to it--we've had rain sometime in every county, and almost constantly in France proper (except about one day in Nice--not counting Corsica). Everyone says this is the worst summer in years, but somehow that isn't all that comforting when you only have 2 days to see a city and end up being drenched or just discouraged enough to not want to try real hard (the latter describes our first night in Munich--just couldn't face the wind and the rain anymore so we stayed in). The itinerary shows 2 days in Cliveden/London and then on to Ireland and then we'll see, several possibilities still and we haven't made any final decisions yet. Take care & I'll see you in a month. I LOVE YOU! Vickie
