Feb. 1, 1918.

At 7:20 P.M., the second regular business meeting of the
year was called to order by Chairman Wong.

After the approval of the previous minutes, two new
students, Messrs. C.C. Liu and C.Y. Hsieh, were introduced by
Mr. Chang and were formally admitted as members by unanimous
vote.

The social committee presented its report concerning the
coming informal social gathering.

Mr. Pun moved that three dollars ($3.) should be the
minimum assessment from each member for the purpose of
the occasion. Mr. William Meh seconded the motion and it
was carried.

An informal discussion concerning the social affair followed.
It was decided there shall be no dance for the
occasion.

Mr. Jones Mei moved that the coming social affair
shall be tendered solely in honor of the C.S. Club of U.C.
in view of the courtesy and obligation on the part of our
Club. The motion was seconded by Mr. Pun, and was
carried.

The question of the insertion of our group picture in
the 1918 "Quad" was informally put forth by the Chairman.
The question was passed by majority vote in favor of the insertion.

Having no other business, the meeting adjourned at
9:33 P.M.
