Oct. 11th, 1918.

The first meeting of the Autumn quarter
was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by
Mr. W.C. Meh, the former English Secretary,
for the former president Meiwas absent .

Mr. S.K. Wong introduced the following
new students into the club:
Mr. P. Hwang
Mr. B. L. Chen
Mr. H. Chi
Mr. P. S. Kwong
Mr. N.Y. Yue

The new officers for the Autumn
Quarter were elected,
President - W.J. Chang
English Secretary P. Hwang
Chinese Secretary and Treasurer - H. Chi

After the election, the new officers
came to take charge of the meeting. Mr. Meh
suggested to have the quarter fee,
which is 50 cents, raised in order to meet
the increasing needs of the club. Mr. Wong,
representing the majority, gave the reasons
to disapprove the suggestion. So it was
not worked out. Mr. Wong and Mr. Chi
both suggested that this quarter our
Chinese Club should do something to
