September 29. 1916
The meeting came to order at 7:30 P.M. and Mr. Lee presided.

The first business brought before
the Club was the Consideration of the
draft of the Constitution. With all
the necessary alterations duly considered
Mr. J.W. Lum made a motion
for the adoption of the Constitution
and seconded by Mr. S.K. Wong.

The following motions seconded
and carried that:

1. Mr. Lum be appointed as the
Chairman of the Athletic Committee
with instruction to enter into inter-collegiate
Athletic relationship with the
Chinese Student's Club of the University
of California.

2. Mr. J.W. Lum be appointed as
the chairman of the Social Committee
with the privilige of appointing his own
assistance whenever it is deemed necessary.

3. November 4 be the date set
for a social evening given at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lan Hing
in Oakland, and that invitation be
extended to the students of the university
of California and other schools.
