Oct. 10, 1920

A special meeting was called
by the president to celebrate Oct. 10,
our National holiday. The following
members being present, Messrs.
H. Wu, L.S. Hsu, Sam Chew,
Chi Chen, and later after the business
meeting, Mr. K.T. Young showed up.

The following were discussed:—

(1) House rules read by the president
but no action was taken on them.

(2) It was decided to have no bible
class as not enough members
would avail themselves of such
a meeting.

(3) A Free meeting hour to be held
each Sunday from four to 5 P.M.
to discuss current problems.

(4) A Mandarin-Cantonese exchange
class was to be conducted by
the members of the club from
7-8 P.M. Business meeting
adjourned 9:30 P.M.

Following the business meeting,

Mr. Hsu gave a fine talk on the
"Economic Opportunities of China,"
and Mr. K.T. Young also gave a
snappy talk on the "Meaning
of Oct. 11 & how it was being
