dance with 3 coronation queens. Miss Coed,
Mrs. Housewife and Miss Working girl. Dr. Chan
chosen as judge and a trophy of some sort will be
given to each queen. Date will be about April 5th
at [Colonial?] Room in [Hotel?] St. Francis. Raffles
may be sold. Motion was moved and seconded
on question of whether having the dance and the majority voted to
have the dance. Henry Lew made a motion
that each member laon $5.00 to back the dance on an involuntary
basis, the motion was seconded and voted with
the majority agreeing. Delbert Wong added an
admended motion that those who contribute this
loan will get a refund of $3.00 if the dance
becomes a financial success. - this motion
was seconded and unanimously agreed by all.
President Baron Lowe appointed Jack Quan and
his committee in charge of this dance.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:45.
