Third meeting of Spring Quarter

Meeting called to order by President Jack Quan at 7:25 P.M. Minutes of last
meeting read + approved.

Purpose of meeting was to discuss building of foundation of Chinese Clubhouse.
Jack Quan, president, reported on the alumni student meeting held April 25 in S.F.
For purpose of helping to raise money for helping to rebuild the foundation of
the Clubhouse, at the meeting it was suggested that donations be kept within
the Stanford family : that is : the students, alumni, their family, and close
friends. Decided at the meeting that alumni would raise approximately $2000 or
more and the students would aim for $1500. Suggested plans for student
collection : 1. set amount for students living here at $40
those not being here approximately $20
as a whole, this suggestion was not approved

2. contributions by students - families - friends

Discussion : to try to set up plans for collecting from students

Motion - start initial fund from students, family, immediate friends, will wait 2 weeks later
to total amount ; future plans decided at [?] meeting set for May 22
