Friday - April 9, 1948

The meeting was called to order at 8:15
by Pres. Johnny Chin & the minutes of the last meeting were read
& approved.

Wayman Wing made several suggestions
concerning the quarter's social function : the possibili-
ty of a dance in the women's clubhouse, a beach
party, a barbecue, or possibly a combination
of two of the 3 ideas. A discussion of whether
to have a one-day social affair or two sepa-
rate affairs on two different days was carried out.
A vote was taken & it was decided that 2 func-
tions be held the same day. One of these would
be a dance. The rest of the matter was left to be decided
by W. Wing & his committee.

Bunny Chang made a report of
the expenses of the Coronation Ball. The total
costs amounted to $544.71 which was paid out
of dues & receipts from the dance, the total
being $574.02. Only $29.31 is now left in the
treasury.

George Lee suggested that certain
measures be taken to effect better communication
between club members for dissemination of meeting notices
& other pertinent information. A move was
made to have a representative for off-campus
members. It was proposed that a file be
