Summer Qtr. House July 11. 1953

Members Present

C. Tyndall, R. Tyndall, E. Lok, R. Grider,
P. Noble, M. Yhap, A. Rezoha, J. Baird,
S. Shah, R. Howes, S. Chang.

Members Abscent

R. Koch C.T. Chang

Purpose of meeting & results.

1. To inform members of house when rents
are due.

2. To give everyone a chance to get
acquainted.

3. To give members an opportunity to voice
suggestions concerning Summer management
of house, house duties, kitchen duties, etc.

(No suggestions were made but
possibility of a later house meeting
to cover this should members desire
it was admitted)

4. To find out if members wanted a
house party this quarter.

(There was no favorable response
to this quiry)

House has been surveyed by Mr. W.L. Smith
Superentendent of Buildings & Grounds here at Stanford.
Mr. Smith, who kindly gave his time, pointed out several
not too serious settlings of the foundation and one rather
serious settling, which is causing the north chimney to
pull away from the house causing an umber of large
cracks in the stucco and a bowing out of the
library wall due to the chimney's pull.

This condition is serious because at present the
