Winter Quarter Report.

1. On January 8, 1955, I (Don Cheu) phone Mr.
Richard Taam at his house in Oakland and
requested that he return the remainder of
the House Fund to the Clubhouse inorder
that we might pay of the Furnace
Company and the Electrician. We received
the money in about four days.
Mr. Taam said that he was resigning
from the job of keeping our House
Fund as of that moment, I accepted.

2 On January 21, 1955, as small social
was given at the Chinese Club House
by the Clubhouse for all the new
Chinese Freshman students at
Stanford. Girls were invited from
San Mateo, Mills College and San
Jose Sate College (Stanford too).
It was quite successful.

3. On Janary 30, 1955, Don Cheu built
another closet for room 6, thus
each occupant of the rooom could
have his own closet.

4. Gilbert Lau & Philippe Senat moved into
Room 6 around the first of Febuary.

5. On Febuary 1st, the Stanford Quad sent
a photographer over to the House and
took a group picture for the House's
half-page in the Year Book. The cost
of the half-page was cut from $20
to $14 or a dollar per person.

6. On March 3, we had our final
House meeting and everyone was present.

7. There was also a short House Meeting on
Febuary 16, 1955.
