Matters of Interest - Autumn Quarter 1955

1. On the 29th of September Don Cheu,
Shao-Chia Chou and Michael Lin put
in a partition in room 10, thus
separating the room from the strage
space.

On the same day we tore out
the plaster on the West wall
of the ping-pong room and
replaced it with Plaster-board.
The wall was later wall-papered
at a cost of $6.86.

2. On the 29th of September, the House
finally broke down and bought
a television (Columbia-21") at
a cost of $165.73 from the Palo
Alto Hardware.

Don Cheu installed the aerial and
the set.

3. The Chinese stove was removed from
the kitchen and placed in the
attic furnace room on the 28th
of September.

4. Both furnaces were oiled and the
filters replaced around the
middle of October.

5. The [blank] was replaced on the 1st
floor rear bathroom on the 18th
of November
