W 30 Odds & ends Lunch at Love's BBQ. Exercise at West LA Holiday Spa Leave, thinking about [insert] 1976 - 81 [/insert] - personal - professional - separate!

Th 31 I need to start treating friends better. Recognize LA's lack of a philosophical side. Gene Gordon [insert?] [ON MCALLISTER] [/insert] gives me ticket to THE PARTY. Coke. Grass. Tommy Hooper. Frank [insert?] [TAN?] [/insert] of Mus Sys.

F 1 Harold [insert][LONG HAIR][/insert] from LA, great dancer. I was called "Chicken" TWICE. Great party for [insert][NOT][/insert] knowing anyone. Beautifully clear sunny morning. Sleep awhile. 2PM Eat at Mrs Candy's. [insert][CLOUDY][/insert] Take off.

Sat 2 Travel from Willits (having been snowed in) tp Portland Marriott. Think up guidelines, not rules, for personal life. CALIFORNIA IS BEHIND ME FOR AWHILE. See bars in Portland. Quiet.

Sun 3 After brunch at Marriott, drive to Seattle. Write up guidelines on how to BALANCE pickiness against loneliness. Select friends & boyfriends: minimal requirements goals, priorities, and LOGISTICS "FACE IT, LA has not been too good for me, but OC & SF were"

Th 24 Prefer building with Fred over pretending w/ Emily Drove to Portland. Not too bad. Fred is very mechanically minded. Ken's table blessing had racist twinge.
