Page 58Should I try to cause my own growth (ie own my own business) or ride on others coattails? I have caused so much growth but I have little to show for it. But I have all I want right? Yes, for now. When you want more then work it out. For now I am satisfied with what I can earn as an employee. Should I tithe? This year Oct 77- Sep 78 I have given 100+50 (at RMC), 66.75 (church offerings) + 50 (to Rex H) or just over $700. Should I give a lot more? I really don't know. All I gave the year before that was $100. And for the time before Jan 1976 I decided I needed to pay $1000 based on tithes. If I am to, then wish the spirit were there. But when you feel you're getting phoney letters from Rex, and it takes two months to get a reply from CCC, I really can't see that it helps. Their work had some meaning for me. But $8000 worht. I would be generous but I must think over the whole situation. I don't know how well | Page 58 |
