Pickup John. Give Vic $109. Got his check.
Drive to Ferry. John's been up
all night so he's tired. Stays in car.

I go up on deck. Beautiful morning.
Mountains are under Sunshine.
Have Licorice spice [?].
Nice drive. Beautiful day.
Stop for Egg McMuffin's at Mobil Station.
Get gas + wash windows.
Beautiful going over Hood canal Br.
No snow on mountains in August!
This is late in the summer.

Stopped in Pt Angeles to call Carol
and buy groceries + go to Wendy's.
Pump up bike tires at Fairmount.

Arrive at the Cabin. Meet Debbie.
Very good time:
Sun, Jet Ski, Beer, Tortilla Chips,
Turkey Sandwiches, Bike Ride,
More Jet skiing on Flat Water,
Standing up. Great Fun.
Shower and Pasta Veggie Soup.
Watch end of Annie. Too extravagent.
Sit on dock with John, Dan went to work.
Gets dark. Small Campfire.
Go over to lodge for a drink,
with Debbie and meet Greg.
Drive home with Debbie. Dan comes home.
Go out in boat at top speed at
dark end of lake. See bright Shooting star,
even had a trail that lasted a bit.

Home + to bed.

7:00
No curtains on windows, so wake up early,
and Dan's Dad is grinding coffee.
But lake is so flat. Go water skiing
and I get up on one, dropping ski
and balancing with one foot. Great.
Wonderful on such a flat surface.
