Cloudy but not raining

Given how bad the weather was and that I almost didn't go to the bump party, I am lucky not to be severely depressed today. Actually it was hot with a good costume, friends, coke, a hot lay, and a good hunt during the party. And I was numb to the awful weather Sunday. And I've got pictures to look at. (And I got [cut off] out of the way.)

But something is missing and that is close family, as Catherine puts it. I have some friends, and I manage to get by, but I wish that I loved living here, that it would make me feel like I wanted to buy a house + settle down.

8:30 Read ADS/ON-LINE in HGK, vol II. DB's sort of intrigue me but they leave me cold too. Write a note on this, and on what I've done at Microsoft. Seems to point away from software design, and toward finance...

9:00 Go to work. Work on frozen columns + rows

3:15 Leave for contact lens fitting

5:00 Go home + get mail + go to tan.

5:15 Dinner. Misc. Talk with Chuck, Vic, Daniel Anderson. Watch old Johnny Carson

11:00 To bed

9:00 To work. Frozen rows/columns. Have review. Tony suggests I think about printer code

7:45 Go to gym. Dinner at Wendy's. Go home since no glasses. Read Merrill Lynch pamphlet on new tax law + investments. Think about the next year.
