Dear Mr. Tresidder,

Your recent letter was very
interesting to me, and it give me the
opportunity to ask some questions.

I am an ensign in the USNR,
have a son 1 year old and expect another
child in late September. I want to return
to Stanford & complete my final year of work:
I am studying by correspondence from the
U. of California at the present time. I was
a Social Science major but intend to
graduate as an Economics major with
the view toward becoming a C.P.A. My
experience is that it would be difficult
to improve on Stanford's pre-war program:
if the post-war program includes adequate
counsel for veterans it will prove a big
help in readjusting to civilian life.

My questions may or may not be
typical, but I want to know:

1) What courses to take from U. of Cal.
