Dear Sir,

In answer to your March letter I would like to offer my opinions on the subjects you suggested. I am planning to return to Stanford and to resume my former major of Petroleum Geology. Of course uppermost in my mind is obtaining my degree as soon as possible, but the content of the course should not be [but] beyond the necessary items. A full coverage but few frills. Possibly more "actual doing" or labs would help the presentation and shorten the time requirements somewhat. One sure thing is that there should be a stiff review course to try to regain some of the forgotten things. Being a hall man, a place in one of the halls would be quite satisfactory. Extra curricular dances, picnics, jolly-ups, would be fine. Possible more than before. For the record bureau I am now a Tech. Sergeant in the 44h Infantry Division.

Sincerely,

AA Lockhart
