The President
Stanford University

Dear Dr. Tresidder:

In answer to your recent inquiry I would
like to state that upon completion of my
military service I intend to return to Stanford
to resume my studies in the Dept. of Psychology.
I do not expect to receive from the university
units of credit for military service to
supplement any part of the approximately 30
units required for my graduation. I belive
that nothing equals the opportunity and
educational value of being a resident student
at Stanford, so am reviewing past studies
by completing U.S.A.F.I. correspondence
courses in whatever spare time I find so as
to be ready for the day I return to Stanford.
There is nothing beyond Stanford's pre-war
facilities that I hope for--only the maintenance
of its traditional high standards.

Sincerely,

Lt. Vernon W. Sanders
