Dear Sir:
I expect to be discharged from the army within the next few months. After a short vacation I plan to return to Stanford to complete my course in the School of Law. Now that I am married and have a year-old daughter, you may add my name to the list of those who desire "a small home near the campus"! I wonder if any such houses will be available at the beginning of Winter or Spring Quarters... I have a copy of the Information Bulletin for returning veterans, and found

it very helpful in bringing me up to date on Stanford's courses of study and present activities. I am especially pleased to learn that Stanford will soon return to intercollegiate sports. Intramural sports should also play an important role in our post-war campus life.
I should greatly appreciate any further information which you or your staff can supply on the housing situation.
