2would be in enough demand to stand on their own merits. I believe every opportunity should be made to promote all types of sport among the returning alumni. Some will be eligible to compete for the University but those that are unable to do so must be directed into the intra-mural channels. Others must be afforded a chance to carry on their own athletic desires. The extra curricular activities are of no great worry, and will take care of themselves. I was overseas when I learned that all sororities have been abolished. It came as quite a shock to me. As I was curious, I returned to Stanford during my 30 days leave around Christmas.
