Dear sir: Before the war I was in the general practice of medicine in a small town in California.

[spend?] several months at the time in post graduate study, but would like to take a short course every year for several years after I get back. I believe such courses should be practical and made up of subjects that could be used in general practice with a minimal amount of theory. It is my hope that Stanford will offer such courses for those of us who are getting a little rusty in the practice of [medicine?].

I hope the time [wants?] [heretofore?] in the future when we can all see a "Big Game" once again.
