Office of the President Stanford Univ.

Dear Sir.

I received your letter of March 1945 and since the questions you asked have long been on my mind, I am taking the time to answer.

First off all among my post-war plans I intend to return to Stanford shortly after the end of my military service. I hope to be greeted with a "business as usual" attitude where ever possible. I plan to undertake the same course of study as I [abandoned?] in March 1943. I don't expect any modifications in the courses except where it is necessary to refresh some of the older students. discrimination on the part of the administration [and?] on any student's military accomplishments etc.

The opinions are my own. Some students may not be able to continue as they had once started. In that case they will have to ask something more of the school.

I hope my observations are of value.

Sincerely,
