3to undertake is the introduction of electives, practical in nature, opening my eyes to the true nature of the business world. For example, a course entitled "The Oil Business" might actually describe what is transpiring in that field today, not only from an engineering standpoint but from an economic point of view as well, listing "who's who" and "what's what"; so Stanford graduates may graduate from the ranks of the fiar haired boys with diplomas. I appreciate the opportunity you have offered me and those like me in making suggestions for a better post-war Stanford.
