1Air Forces Officer Candidate School 9/18/42 Dear Mr. Barclay - I was so glad to hear from you and to receive the data on this cruising season. I sent the ticket applications to Dad in hopes that I will be able to use them. The last I heard was that the army restriction on large crowds attending football games had been lifted. Is this still the situation? The school here is hard as are all service schools of necessity: We have to take over 30 courses in three months and pass them all with creditable grades. The courses are not difficult and not too comprehensive due to the time element but are complicated by drill and extra activities which always result in fatigue and loss of study time respectively.
