Third day Broadcasting (con:)

Leyland c Oldfield b Wall 0

The storm which had been threatening for some time happily passed over. Jardine,
who had been batting in a very promising fashion, was brilliantly caught at the wicket
by Oldfield for 27 runs, the bowler being McCabe. This was at 5.45. Jardine then appear
to have changed his batting order as Verity followed him.

Pataudi, after a slow start, was now batting in a delightfully artistic manner and
was using his wrists with effect.
