My Dear Friend
I called at my Uncles
this morn'g [morning] according to our appoint-
ment and waited nearly an hour
for you. I could not go in to the city
for want of time. Be kind enough
to give my kind Love to your dear
Mother & sisters - and also to Mrs
& the Misses Marsdens - respects to
your Brothers -& all friends if you
please - tell Miss Marsden that I
must beg her pardon for promising
to write & not to perform I really
cannot but will the very next
